J. Robert DuBois is a security advisor who was once labeled a “smart power authority” while assisting U.S., British and Iraqi forces in Baghdad. A multilingual Navy SEAL with experience in more than thirty nations, he retired in 2006…then headed back into Iraq and Afghanistan to support commanders facing complex threat situations.
Rob has provided his “Think like the Adversary” workshop to elite military units in combat zones, Fortune 500 companies, and agencies including the National Counterterrorism Center. He chairs the Health & Human Services Committee of the Homeland Security Foundation of America and has spoken on balanced peacemaking to audiences as diverse as the French Embassy and the halls of Congress.
Rob’s published work includes syndicated articles on cultural competence and security assurance in The Counterterrorist magazine, Investor’s Business Daily, the HALO Harbinger and the Compass of the National Language Service Corps.
Rob is the founder of SEAL of Peace Consulting, based in Washington, DC.
